Remember: Your spray tan develops on the outer layer of your skin. The better you prep and moisturize, the more even, natural, and longer-lasting your glow will be.

This fits the warm, supportive "trusted friend with expertise" voice you've been building for Velvet Bronze. It feels less like a list of restrictions and more like guidance from someone helping them get the best possible result.

The Velvet Bronze Prep Plan

A few easy steps before your appointment can make all the difference. Here's everything you need to know for a smooth, streak-free tan you'll love.

24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

☐ Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment.

☐ Remove any old self-tanner.

☐ Moisturize daily leading up to your appointment (but not the day of).

DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT

☐ Arrive with clean, product-free skin.

☐ Skip lotions, oils, perfumes, deodorant, and makeup.

☐ Wear loose, dark clothing.

☐ Bring loose sandals or slides if possible.

☐ Remove jewelry before your spray tan.

☐ Tie long hair up before your appointment.

Post-Appointment Care:

WHILE YOUR TAN DEVELOPS

☐ Avoid water, sweating, workouts, and humidity.

☐ Wear loose clothing.

☐ Avoid tight bras, leggings, or anything that may rub the skin.

☐ Follow your rinse instructions based on your solution type.

FIRST RINSE

☐ Rinse with lukewarm water only.

☐ Pat dry—don't rub.

EXTEND YOUR GLOW

☐ Moisturize daily.

☐ Use gentle, sulfate-free body wash.

☐ Pat skin dry after showering.

☐ Avoid long hot baths, pools, hot tubs, and excessive exfoliation.
